The role

This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.

The Project Admin Assistant is a supporting role within our Governance team working closely with Senior Executives across the A&G Business. You will be responsible for contributing to operational support for key regulatory projects being implemented across Auto & General Insurance Group & Subsidiaries.

The ideal candidate is a driven individual who can multitask effectively, work autonomously, and thrive in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment. Your day to day duties will include:

  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, reports, and presentations, ensuring proper filing, record-keeping, and accessibility.
  • Assist with data entry and analysis, supporting the development and implementation of the reporting framework.
  • Manage project correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Maintain project databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports and other artefacts specific to project deliverables, ensuring high-quality formatting and content.

What experience you’ll bring

  • Minimum 2 years proven experience in providing effective and efficient administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience or strong knowledge in corporate governance and/or risk functions in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Board governance principles and best practices preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet competing deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite, Jira.
  • Experience in using project management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive attitude.
