About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic forward thinking Human resource Co-ordinator to join a thriving fast paced national business with a head office located in the northern suburbs of Brisbane. Supporting 90 staff at head office with 70 employee's (full time and casual) interstate.
This is a 2 function role.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, your role you will work closely with the C-suite (CEO,CFO, COO) providing a broad range of administrative support to the leadership team, our managers and the business in general. Additionally, you will support the business, managers and staff with Human resource administration and co-ordination. We are seeking that special someone with experience in HR matters but doesn't mind supporting the executives with administration tasks.
Human Resource

Provide day-to-day support and guidance to managers and employees across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, contract variations, probation management, performance support, and offboarding.

Assist with the preparation of employment contracts, position descriptions and workplace documentation.

Act as an additional contact for employee inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses aligned with our team values

Assist with compliance-related management, including working with license checks, visas, and other employment clearances.

Provide support to the People and Culture function in implementing high-impact HR initiatives, events (such as our Christmas party), and strategic projects.

Assist in the design and development of career pathways within the organisational structure that improve retention.

Work with different stakeholders to assess and address training and development needs to drive a high performance culture.
Administration
-
Daily / Monthly - Preparing company /operational reports
-
Operational admin support - dealing with suppliers, warehouse / operations quoting and scheduling

Head office facility and building administration - Scheduling maintenance and service agreements

Arranging and supporting company events and conferences

Ordering consumables, uniforms, food company wide

Freight management administration

Arranging travel for staff

Attending to ad hoc personal tasks and requests as required
About you
2+ years of experience in a similar role such as, HR Generalist or HR administration role.
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources is desirable but not essential.
Strong understanding of Fair work legislation, WHS regulations, and the workers' compensation process.
Highly organised with a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both autonomously and within a collaborative team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage at all organisational levels.
