As MLG Oz continues to experience ongoing growth, so does our recruitment & mobilisation team. We are seeking seasoned resource industry Recruitment and Mobilisation Officers who thrives in setting the standard high performing recruitment teams delivering results to the business.
About the role
Reporting to our Recruitment and Mobilisation Lead, you will play a critical role in delivering efficient, end to end recruitment and mobilisation services to our business operations.
What you will be doing
Managing the full recruitment lifecycle for your portfolio of positions, some of your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Being accountable for the recruitment and mobilisation processes to ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborating with your stakeholders to deliver recruitment and mobilisation initiatives that align with business needs.
- Managing relationships with labour hire providers and external stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless working relationships with site personnel in obtaining site clearances.
- Ensuring accurate and efficient execution of all recruitment and mobilisation documentation.
- Maintain clear and up to date communication with all stakeholders during all stages of the process.
- Identifying attraction and sourcing opportunities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for
As an experienced recruiter with a strong track record of consistently delivering high volume, blue collar end to end recruitment and mobilisation outcomes, you thrive in fast paced environments and excel at managing dynamic workforce demands, particularly within the mining, haulage or heavy industries.
To hit the ground running you will need:
- 2+ years’ experience in a busy recruitment and mobilisation function.
- Proven high volume, blue collar, recruitment experience within mining, haulage, earthmoving, construction, and heavy industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, ATS/recruitment tools (ideally ELMO) and other organisational software programs/tools.
- You lead by example, contributing to high team performance.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving with an operational and commercial lens.
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police Clearance.
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is advantageous.
- General knowledge of human resources is advantageous.
