What's on offerFixed Term Temporary Part-time for three (3) years, 32 hours per fortnight.
Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $536,916 p.a.
- Base salary range $100.78 - $127.77 p.h.
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
- Regional and rural attraction allowance (5% base salary)
- Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave
- Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.

About the role
The Clinical Director - Recognising and Responding to Acute Deterioration (RRAD), is the medical leader responsible for ensuring that the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) provides a multi-disciplinary RRAD system that meets all requirements of ACHS Standard 8, Recognising and Responding to Acute Deterioration.
This position will be responsible for providing high-level medical oversight, education, strategic direction and quality improvement to enhance the capability of the THHS to respond to critical medical emergencies and effectively manage deteriorating patients, including delirium. A key element of this role will be to take a lead role in the clinical adoption of ieMR and analytic tools to recognise and respond to deterioration across the HHS.
RequirementsQualified as a medical practitioner, qualifications in critical and/or acute care speciality areas and current registration and / or eligible for registration as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia.
