About the Role
We are seeking a Survey Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the survey equipment, supporting field crews in the successful execution of surveying projects. Working closely with project managers, surveyors, and clients, you will play a key part in guaranteeing that our operations meet the highest standards for accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Equipment Management : Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot multibeam and related survey equipment.

Project Support : Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute survey operations, providing technical guidance on positioning, hardware setup, and workflows.

Technical Documentation : Develop and maintain documentation for procedures, equipment configurations, and software usage.

Continuous Improvement : Drive innovation by working with emerging technologies, optimizing workflows, and contributing to the overall enhancement of the company processes.
About You

Qualifications : A bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, or a relevant field experience.

Experience : At least 2 years of hands-on experience with preferably hydrographic survey equipment setup, or relevant roles in surveying/engineering.

Technical Skills : Familiarity with navigation and MBES acquisition software, data processing tools.

Exposure to hydrographic surveying hardware.

Soft Skills : Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.

Team-Oriented : Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues. Flexibility to adapt to project needs and timelines.

Ability to work offshore. Able to complete (or already possess) the necessary offshore medical fitness evaluations and essential certifications to meet standards for work at sea.
