Description:

Dormway has been awarded a new contract by Unitywater valued at $200 million over an initial 5-year term, with an option of 5-year extension, as part of the “Build Better Together" program. Dormway is proud to be one of the trusted delivery partners of Unitywater to deliver a key Capital Works Program across Water and Sewer Infrastructure across the Sunshine Coast.
Located at our Caloundra office, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Scheduler with a strong background in engineering, specifically within the water industry, to join our team. This position will play a critical role in managing and overseeing project schedules for water infrastructure projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience using Primavera P6, knowledge of Power BI for data analysis and reporting, and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of water industry projects.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Project Scheduling & Planning:Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for water industry infrastructure projects.Ensure that all project milestones, tasks, and dependencies are accurately reflected in the schedule.Track project progress and update schedules in a timely manner.Identify potential risks or delays and work with the project team to mitigate or resolve issues.Communicate schedule changes, impacts, and adjustments to project stakeholders.Data Analysis & Reporting:Utilize Power BI to generate insightful reports and dashboards for project performance, status updates, and forecasting.Provide key performance indicators (KPIs) related to schedule health and project milestones to leadership and stakeholders.Analyse project data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.Collaboration & Coordination:Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure schedules align with project goals and timelines.Assist in the development of project budgets and resources allocation.Provide technical guidance on scheduling challenges, ensuring effective problem-solving.
