Are you a proactive and results-driven Production Scheduler looking to lead change and drive efficiency in a growing manufacturing business? EDMO is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Production team to own and evolve our planning and scheduling capability.
About the Role
As our Production Scheduler , you’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing operations – driving the scheduling engine that powers our customer delivery. You’ll lead the planning process using our MRP system to ensure seamless production flow, schedule compliance, and on-time delivery.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Sales, and Warehousing to forecast, plan, and coordinate all activities needed to meet our customer commitments. You'll also manage supplier and contractor relationships and maintain accurate materials data to optimise our supply chain.
This is not just a scheduling role — we’re looking for someone to lead , influence , and continuously improve .
What You'll Be Doing

Develop and maintain EDMO’s MRP system and production planning tools

Project manage the Customer Delivery Schedule (CDS) in collaboration with Operations

Monitor and adjust capacity and resources to meet changing demands

Coordinate suppliers and contractors to ensure timely material availability

Lead weekly scheduling meetings and provide clear, actionable data insights
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in production scheduling within a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and production workflows

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to lead from the centre – influencing peers, suppliers, and production teams

High attention to detail and capability to anticipate and remove bottlenecks
