The Role:
Working from our statewide locations, the Payroll Specialist will manage payroll activities and act as the primary liaison with our third-party payroll provider. You will play a key role in the transition to our new payroll provider as a part of the People Experience team.

This position is full-time with flexible work hours.

On any given day, your duties will include:

  • Providing expert advice on complex payroll matters as the point of escalation
  • Identifying all inaccuracies before confirming the finalisation of pay
  • Developing best practice payroll procedures to streamline the payroll function
  • Conducting reporting and analysis of HR data
  • Lead on complex payroll matters, including taxation and redundancy calculations

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven payroll experience, including expertise in taxation, superannuation and payroll processing
  • Deep understanding of payroll legislation, award interpretation, and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, practical advice to non-specialists
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights for decision-making
  • Adaptability and collaboration skills to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment
