Due to recent project awards MACA Interquip Mintrex is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our growing team here in West Perth.

Responsibilities include:
- Assist in all phases of the project life-cycle, from concept studies through to detailed design for metals projects.
- Design and/or optimize flowsheets for greenfield or brownfield metallurgical processing plant projects.
- Conduct trade-off studies to select optimized project solutions.
- Prepare design calculations and mass balance models in simulation software.
- Provide process design requirements to other discipline engineers and designers
- Supports the Project / Study team to ensure that they deliver the project / study in accordance with cost, time, quality, safety targets and objectives
- Prepare process equipment data sheets, including technical details and duties as required
- Work with project teams to prepare capital and operating cost estimates
- Work with clients to understand the needs of their project and business
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Recognised qualifications in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- More than five (5) years process experience in either an engineering contracting environment or consultancy organisation in the metallurgical industry. Operations experience will be highly regarded.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
- Developed interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
- Effective organisation and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Experience working in multi-discipline environment and a clear understanding of roles of interfacing disciplines.
- The ability to coach and develop less experience engineers and graduate development.
- Flexible, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity
