About the role:
Reporting to the Clinical Engagement Lead, Health Information Sharing, the Principal Change and Communications Adviser will plan, coordinate and execute change management and communication activities to support the delivery of programs and initiatives for health information sharing.
Working in a multidisciplinary team, the Principal Change and Communications Adviser will support the delivery of the CareSync Exchange, Victoria's statewide health information sharing system. CareSync Exchange will support more connected care and better patient outcomes across Victorian Public Health Services.
The role will support the health information sharing team to deliver change communications strategies that inform and engage stakeholders and align with key health information sharing work stream activities, milestones and organisational objectives.

About you:
We are looking for someone who can:
- Design and implement targeted change communication plans to engage stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive adoption of new processes and systems.
- Deliver high-quality communications collateral across multiple platforms.
- Work closely with health service change and communication leads to identify and implement initiatives to support communication needs and support project milestones.
- Quickly and accurately develop engaging communication materials including websites, speaking notes, emails, newsletters, bulletins, reports; as well as review and edit others' content, all to an excellent standard.
- Prepare or assist in preparation of clear, concise, accurate written documentation including briefs, reports, options papers, and presentations for a range of stakeholders, including clinical and technical specialists.
- Contribute to ongoing business change readiness and related risks (people, business continuity and organisational) to facilitate informed discussions with executive stakeholders and develop appropriate change management strategies.
Qualifications / Specialist Expertise
- A tertiary qualification in a field related to communications, media or an associated disciplines is preferred
- Prior involvement in large scale digital or IT initiatives, ideally involving challenging change agendas and implementation within Victorian public health services.
- Extensive experience in developing communications and engagement strategies that are informed by insights, and a strong understanding of audience and audience need.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly understand the health sector and system and the role of communications and engagement in the context of the public service and health sector, including how it relates to the operation of government.
- Proficiency in using a range of communication platforms, tools and methods to deliver impactful messaging.
