The Program Manager – Western Sydney is responsible for overseeing the operational, commercial, and customer readiness for all Qantas Group entities at Western Sydney International Airport (WSI), including Qantas, QantasLink, Jetstar, and Qantas Freight.
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Projects, this role will drive the successful delivery of the Western Sydney International Airport Program, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
The Program Manager will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and complex operational issues across QantasLink, Jetstar, and Qantas Freight, while ensuring good governance and strong collaboration with Western Sydney Airport Corporation and
internal stakeholders such as Airports, Flight Operations, Engineering and wet lease suppliers. This includes leading workforce planning, system integration, training requirements and process implementation to ensure a seamless operational transition and exceptional customer experience.
You’ll have –
- 10 years of program management and strategy experience
- Tertiary Qualification- Bachelor’s degree or appropriate practical experience
- Highly collaborative, influential and operationally astute
- Leadership, time management and strategic thinking
- Takes ownership of, and personal accountability for, decisions and actions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work through long and short-term issues
- Highly motivated, driven by goals.
- Competent self-starter with a positive attitude to work as a team member and leader.
