The Northern Territory’s Weed Management Branch is looking for a Buffel Grass Officer to support its buffel grass management program. The position will provide effective weed management services through the development, coordination, administration and implementation of buffel grass management activities including strategic control, eradication, survey, compliance and extension programs for stakeholders in Central Australia. Please note that while some parts of the position may require spraying of buffel grass, it is essentially not a ‘weed spraying’ position.

The position is based in Alice Springs but will undertake field work and support land managers across Central Australia.
