The AIR 5428 Pilot Training System partners with the Australian Defence Force for development of its military pilot workforce at four operating bases, RAAF Base East Sale, RAAF Base Pearce, RAAF Base Edinburgh, and RAAF Base Williamtown. Implementing a tailored learning solution, Lockheed Martin leads the delivery of this approach for all Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Australian Navy and the Australian Army candidates; as well as supporting operations for other key Australian Defence Force aviation units.
This role will contribute to and undertake AIR 5428 sourcing activities including drafting of Survey and Quotes, work statements, minor terms and conditions as well as RFQ and bid packages, and analysis and evaluation of proposals. Another responsibility is to support AIR 5428 contract administration through contributions to head contract delivery and changes to the head contract, and participation in relevant commercial activities.
This position can be based in Adelaide, Melbourne or East Sale.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Support management and coordination of the provision of services from primary Subcontractor for the AIR5428 Program
- Development and sustainment of positive Supplier relationships in support of current and future supply chain requirements in line with relevant phases of the Program
- Support monthly internal and external subcontractor performance reporting
- Support the processing of head and subcontract Data Deliverables for internal reviews, commentary and approval or rejection, including but not limited to:
- RFQs and RFIs
- Bid packages/quotations
- Task Priced/Survey & Quote Services
- Pre-Authorised Ad Hoc Services orders
- Proposal analysis and evaluation
- Selecting/recommending subcontractors
- Proposals/tasking instructions, and
- Resulting subcontracts or tasking artefacts
- Undertake and support subcontractor invoice/task management, including status reporting and invoicing transactions; including finance business activities
- Support negotiation and coordination of the implementation of minor subcontracts including subsequent additions, deletions, or modification
About you:
- Significant experience in negotiation and resolution of issues to achieve a positive, commercially focused outcome.
- Relevant certification(s) and / or professional membership(s).
