This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to how Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships (QPWS&P) partners with First Nations Peoples across our permitting program; and specifically, how native title is addressed and cultural considerations. This position within the Permissions Management & Ecotourism team supports departmental initiatives to better recognise and respect, the aspirations and interests of First Nations people in decision making.The Team Leader leads the Native Title assessments team within the Permits unit, supporting terrestrial, marine and wildlife permits teams in their assessment and administration of authorities associated with the use of the QPWS&P managed estate and wildlife authorities.
