We now have an exciting opportunity for a Directorate Support Officer to join our team in Advancement.

  • Full time - Fixed Term to Mid-September 2025. Part time arrangements can be made for the right candidate
  • Located at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas
  • HEWL 5: $74,401 - $84,388 plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits.

WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE

As a Directorate Support Officer , you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of the Directorate. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-performing environment where no two days are the same, and your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will be key to success. You’ll also undertake records management of written correspondence, relevant documentation, reports, confidential information, agendas, meeting minutes, and data, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislative standards.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
You bring qualifications and relevant experience in business administration, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience. Your customer service skills will shine, providing accurate information and advice on policies and procedures with integrity and respect. You bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and proficiency in computerised systems and databases including the Microsoft Office suite. Your ability to work within specified timeframes and manage multiple tasks will be key to your success in this role so you’ll need to have exceptional organisational and time management skills, along with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
