We are seeking a high-performing and motivated leader to join the Note Issue team. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who thrives on challenging issues, engages effectively with the RBA’s top management, and excels in leading teams.
The successful candidate will provide advice on significant policy issues related to the cash industry. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will lead and motivate your team to deliver high quality analysis and policy advice for the RBA’s senior executive. You will work with other experts across the Department, tackling a diverse range of issues. You will engage effectively with other government agencies and industry to inform key policy decisions.
The Senior Manager of Analysis and Policy will have a proven track record in people leadership and a strong alignment with delivering an open and dynamic RBA culture. You will have a strong background in producing policy-relevant analysis and steering work programs and influencing direction on policy issues. As part of the Note Issue Leadership Team, you will share accountability with other leaders for overall performance of deliverables, and meeting strategic outcomes, alongside effective risk management.
The Analysis and Policy area has recently grown into two teams. Analysis and Policy (Distribution) and Analysis and Policy (Quality). The successful candidate would be leading one of these teams.
About the role

Lead, guide and develop your team and individuals within your teams to effectively achieve Note Issue’s goals.

Contribute to the broader strategic direction and leadership of Note Issue Department, sharing accountability with other leaders for overall performance of deliverables and outcomes.

Provide high-quality analysis, advice and briefing materials that contribute to the organisation's strategic goals. Execute effective work plans.

Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and collaborate effectively to support and enhance analysis and outcomes.

Provide proactive and effective communication, encouraging multilevel feedback and fostering a culture of openness and trust.

Ensure operational accountability in regards to people management, budget, processes and risk management

Foster an environment of continuous improvement. Lead the implementation of policies, systems and process changes.
About you
We are seeking a highly motivated leader to join the Note Issue Leadership Team. Your experience in policy making, your ability to lead and engage teams, combined with strong stakeholder management skills, will help set you up for success in this key RBA leadership role.
