About the OpportunityThe City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is looking for a full-time Procurement and Contracts Officer based in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, WA.
You’ll drive value-for-money procurement outcomes and ensure best practice contract management across the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. Reporting to the Contracts and Procurement Manager, you'll support internal teams, lead tender processes, and help optimise procurement strategies.
Key responsibilities:Oversee procurement and contract management frameworksCoordinate end-to-end procurement activitiesSupport departments with sourcing strategies and complianceManage tenders, evaluations, and supplier performanceProvide expert procurement advice and risk mitigation support
What you’ll bring:Tertiary qualifications in procurement or related disciplineExperience in procurement and contract managementStrong stakeholder and negotiation skillsKnowledge of procurement legislation and policyProficiency in procurement systems and record keepingLocal government experience (desirable)Current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence & National Police Clearance
