About the Role

Working closely with the Regional Manager, you will lead a small team and ensure the Jabiru team operates efficiently and delivers high-quality outcomes that align with NLC’s strategic goals. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of NLC projects and programs, coordinating service delivery and facilitating engagement between Traditional Owners, Aboriginal groups, and stakeholders involved in exploration or development activities. You’ll also ensure the smooth running of regional operations, including the planning and logistics of meetings, events, travel, staffing and accommodation.

What You Will Bring:

You’ll bring strong leadership and organisational skills keep the Jabiru office running smoothly and regional services on track. With a solid grasp of operational planning and a proactive approach, you’ll support the Regional Manager in delivering NLC projects across West Arnhem region. Your ability to manage priorities, lead a team, and solve day-to-day challenges will ensure seamless service delivery and support the broader goals of the region.

In Addition to this we are looking for:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant working experience in a similar role or function.
  • Previous experience in supervising a small team.
  • A current NT C class driver’s licence with significant experience driving 4WD vehicles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in standard business administration functions such as business and customer communication, reporting, budget monitoring

We offer:

  • A base salary of $98,725 per annum plus 14.5% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
    • District allowance of up to $9,750 per annum for individuals with dependents and $6,036 without dependents.
    • 5 weeks annual leave , leaving loading, 18 days personal leave;
    • Paid Christmas close down ;
    • Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,961
