Description:
Reporting to the Unify Embed and Sustain, Agile Release Train (ART) Director, this role will facilitate multiple SCRUM ceremonies to ensure effective delivery of Agile Sprint Development Cycles within the Continuous Improvement Pipeline (CIP). CIP will operate in multiple SCRUM team formations as part of adopting contemporary ways of working that will include Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and Testers.As SCRUM Master, you will support and work closely with the SCRUM teams to ensure team goals and quality outcomes are achieved.
The SCRUM Master Key Responsibilities Are
- Lead and manage multi-disciplined, cross-functional teams in the production of high-quality IT solutions.
- Facilitate and lead multiple scrum ceremonies and other meetings/events including daily scrum/stand-up, sprint planning (including user story definition, sizing & prioritization), sprint reviews, retrospectives and other meetings as required.
- Manage and track sprint progress against allocated hours and resources, maintain sprint flow by removing blockers and bottlenecks, focus on goals and identify, capture and communicate any potential risks or issues to the ART Director.
- Ensure that the team is focussed on the highest priorities by working closely with the Product Manager, Iteration Manager, Development Manager, Test Manager and other roles as required.
- Aid in estimation and sub-task creation.
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards utilising Azure DevOps.
- Adopt and advocate Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and participate within Plan Iterations (PI) rituals.
- Regular analysis of burndown charts and other portfolio planning tools to understand velocity, prioritisation and cadence.
- Note areas for improvement and action items for future sprints.
- Understand and manage dependencies, integrations and common functions across the Products.
- Develop and recommend solutions to assist with efficient and effective ICT delivery.
- Work collaboratively with the teams, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes, consulting and sharing information while keeping others informed of issues.
- Lead essential cultural changes for the successful adoption of SAFe and DevSecOps methodologies and processes to establish best practice approach in supporting the cloud environment.
