What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Manager, Centralised Voting & Enforcement Services, this role will be responsible for:
* Planning and leading telephone assisted voting for all relevant election events
* Managing a team of up to 40 casual election staff
* Leading the assessment of responses to compulsory voting enforcement notices and ensuring compliance under the relevant acts
* Providing sound advice and knowledge in relation to Telephone Assisted Voting to the leadership team, internal stakeholders and the public.
What you will bring to the role
* Proven expertise in leading, managing and motivating teams to deliver high quality services in a mission critical and legislative compliant environment.
* Well-developed analytical skills and strong attention to detail with the ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
* Demonstrated high-level customer service with the ability to understand customer requirements and provide timely solutions.
* Strong written and verbal communications skill with demonstrated experience in developing procedural documentation, reports and using communication to influence and persuade.
