Part-Time Temporary Administrative Assistant - CBD Office

Client Details

We are seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our client within the Financial Services for a 4 -month period , 2 days per week until September with potential view to extend further. You will be working approximately 12 hours per week in their CBD, Collins Street office .

Position Details
  • Hourly rate: $37 per hour

  • Days/hours:

    • Monday (9am - 5pm, including 30-minute lunch break) - 7.5 hours

    • Wednesday OR Thursday (10am - 3pm, including 30-minute lunch break) - 5.5 hours

    • Total: 12 hours per week

Profile

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel & Meeting Management: Booking travel via our online portal and managing calendars through Outlook

  • Office Coordination: Ordering equipment, hardware, stationery, and groceries

  • Onboarding Support: Managing employment documentation for new staff

  • Event & Lunch Planning: Organising office lunches and events

  • General Office Support: Watering office plants, preparing PowerPoint presentations, diagrams, and org charts

Job Offer

Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience in office coordination or administration

  • Strong attention to detail and typing skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A positive energy with a proactive, can-do attitude

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Xero experience (preferred but not essential)
