We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef with a background in large-scale catering or high-volume food operations to help lead and enhance site catering.
Reporting to a people-focused Executive Chef, you will assist in overseeing kitchen operations, manage personnel, and ensure the seamless production and delivery of high-quality food services.

The Opportunity
As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for:
Working alongside the kitchen team across outlets and eventsLeading and training all kitchen colleagues on menu execution and techniques and HACCPEnsuring adherence to food hygiene practices and health & safety regulations for yourself and the teamMonitoring portion size and waste to maintain profitabilityOrdering stock and maintaining par levelsAssisting in menu planning, implementation and executionControlling food and wage costs, ensuring they come in on budgetAssisting in special event planning and execution eg: BBQs, Christmas, New Years functionsAssisting in changing menus for the benefit of regular return guestsMenu costing experienceSupporting the team with events and functions
