As Head of People for our Customer Operations Residential department, your role is to coach senior executives and the leadership team to align the organisations people strategy with the departments optimising organisational structure through the design of a strategic workforce strategy. You will leverage technology for data informed decision-making, enhance employee engagement and retention, and guide organisational change initiatives. - Demonstrated leadership experience in a Senior Generalist/Business partnering role.
- Experience interpreting strategy and policy to set and deliver people goals within medium to long time frames.
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Human Resources Management or a related discipline (preferred).
- Experience and passion to work with a customer service/call centre workforce.
- The ability to work independently and operate well within complexity and ambiguity.
- A strategic mindset, with demonstrated capability to flex between strategy and execution.
- Sound working knowledge and application of Australian Employment law.
- Maturity, professionalism, and the capability to coach and negotiate with key stakeholder groups.
- An innate curiosity and highly collaborative nature.
- Build strong, credible relationships with senior executives.
- Partner with the Executive and authority team to align people strategy with long-term goals.
- Optimise organisational structures to enhance efficiency and innovation.
- Implement strategic workforce planning to meet current and future talent needs.
- Drive talent acquisition to support growth aspirations.
- Use HR technology and data insights for informed decision-making.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation and financial performance of people initiatives.
- Enhance employee engagement and retention, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Develop programs to enhance senior leaders' capabilities.
- Guide organisational change initiatives to support transformation and growth.
- Continuously improve people systems, processes, and technology.
- Provide expert guidance on talent management, organisational design, and employee relations.
- Report on team performance against strategy.
- Support career development and growth opportunities for the team.
- Manage international indirect staff, specifically for the Wholesale Head of People.
