The Department of Treasury and Finance is the lead agency for economic, digital and financial policy outcomes. We play a vital role in providing financial services to the community and economic and fiscal policy advice as well as digital services to the Government of South Australia.
The Government's main financial management system (FMS) Masterpiece, used by the majority of SA Government Agencies (excluding SA Health), was implemented 30 years ago and is reaching the end of its useful life. The Finance Reform Program (FRP) is leading a significant program for State Government to implement Oracle and best practice processes. The program will fundamentally change the way finance activities are performed across all in-scope Agencies and impact a broad range of stakeholders, including financial, ICT and operational teams.
About the opportunity:
The Change Analyst is responsible for supporting and undertaking change impact assessment and reviews.
Key elements of the Change Analyst role include:
- Identifying, developing and implementing training and communication requirements and strategies to assist in the deployment of the new FMS;
- Providing change management support to the Change Management and Training team to enable and uplift user adoption, usage and proficiency so that stakeholders feel prepared for change and supported in the transition.
The Change Analyst will also provide communication support to the Change Management and Training team as required so that stakeholders feel prepared for change and supported in the transition to the new ways of working.

Special Conditions:
Full Time available, 12 months initially with the possibility to extend.
Some out of hours work may be required. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required. The incumbent may be required to be assigned to another position at the same classification level across the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF). The incumbent will be required to participate in DTF's Performance Management Program.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a satisfactory SAPOL Clearance or General Employment Probity Check as directed by Shared Services SA.
Shared Services will initiate appropriate background screenings for successful applicants at Shared Services SA's expense. Applicants should not initiate their own screening checks or clearances and doing so will not entitle the applicant to reimbursement from Shared Services SA of costs incurred.
Located in Adelaide CBD with some possible travel to Port Adelaide offices as required.
Remuneration: ASO6 ($98,478 -$104,165)
