Associate Project

About the role

In this role, you will support the management and delivery of various projects and community grant programs to ensure they are completed successfully, on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, such as preparing reports and briefs, coordinating resources, and keeping track of project documentation. Your role will involve implementing and monitoring project plans to ensure everything stays on track and follows the established project management processes of the agency.

You will also work closely with key stakeholders, helping to coordinate reporting and meetings to ensure smooth communication and collaboration. This will help you track project progress and address any issues that arise. Additionally, you will gather and analyse data to identify trends, highlight emerging issues, and report on the project’s progress toward its goals. Your analysis will help inform decision-making and guide project planning.

One of the key challenges in this role is managing multiple tasks and priorities within tight deadlines and limited resources. You’ll need to stay organised and efficient, making sure that all aspects of the project are managed properly while addressing any competing demands

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have previous experience in project management, grants administration or a similar support role, where you contributed to the development and successful delivery of projects.
  • Demonstrate experience in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including reports, briefs, and progress updates.
  • Are familiar with managing resources and coordinating tasks to meet project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Have experience working with a variety of stakeholders, including coordinating meetings, and working groups.
  • Have experience in analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Possess strong organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, especially under tight deadlines and limited resources.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for preparing reports, briefing senior stakeholders, and engaging with internal and external teams.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities and manage project challenges effectively.
  • Proficiency with software and tools to track progress, manage documentation, and communicate updates.
