What will you be doing?
You will work collaboratively with a group of retail clients, enabling them to make data driven decisions that grow their business.
Sharing your strong understanding of consumer attitudes, behaviours, retail purchasing and consumption trends, you will help the client to win new shoppers and increase sales.
Responsibilities
- Define business problems through consultation with the client, and provide solutions to their business needs
- Solve briefs with actionable recommendations and present ‘so what’ based insights
- Incorporate different data sources, client learnings, and other industry insights beyond Circana data to provide meaningful and relevant insights for the client
- Lead all business development activities, identifying new commercial opportunities
- Lead account management, actively pursuing and maintaining collaborative working partnerships with key stakeholders
- Partner with the client, enabling them to fully utilise Circana data and work more effectively with suppliers
Requirements
- 3+ years in category management or insights within a market research agency, FMCG retailer or manufacturer
- Previous experience analysing scan or shopper data
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively mine data and derive actionable insights
- Excellent account management and relationship building skills
- Strong commercial acumen and business development skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
