Arts Queensland (AQ) part of Department of Education is looking for a permanent flexible full-time AO5 Communications Officer (Digital) to work within our Strategy and Programs team. As Communications Officer (Digital) you will coordinate digital and non-digital communications and administrative activities to support the programs and initiatives of AQ.We are looking for a skilled, passionate and enthusiastic communications professional who can produce digital communications to deadlines and support business areas to identify and create content for targeted communications that respond to stakeholder engagement needs, informed by consumer insights and best practice.
Arts Queensland is looking for a permanent full-time AO5 Communications Officer (Digital) to work with us.
Please refer to attached PD for full list of required key duties/tasks:
- Assist with implementing communications strategies and events and preparing communications materials, including researching and writing news stories, media releases, case studies and shareable content.
- Provide support in developing engaging content for the agency's digital channels including use of CMS and social tools and contributing to continuous improvement strategies to ensure the currency and accuracy of AQ's digital platforms.
- Social media management including content and design creation, scheduling, posting and analytics.
- Provide advice and support in the proactive identification and response to issues management, risk assessment, community engagement and digital communications strategies.
- Identify and understand client expectations and offer strategic communications advice.
- Contribute to administration requirements within the team, including the maintenance of a 12-month forward program of media and event opportunities, workflow management and best practice recordkeeping.
- Must be able to use digital communication tools and platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Adobe CS, Squiz DXP, SharePoint, Vision 6, MS Teams, Survey Monkey, Dropbox and TRIM, or can quickly learn use of these tools to support effective communication of AQ's programs and initiatives.

- Salary: $101,174 - $109,784 p.a. + 12.75% super
