About the role
We are seeking an outstanding Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join our Executive Management Team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CCO will be responsible for leading and executing the Club’s commercial strategy, driving revenue growth across all verticals, and delivering long-term value for the Parramatta Eels.
Overseeing the key pillars of Sponsorship, Hospitality, Membership, Ticketing, Marketing, Digital, Content, and Data Analytics, the CCO will lead a high-performing team and play a pivotal role in shaping the Club’s market presence, brand impact, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and execute a dynamic commercial strategy aligned with the Club’s overarching goals.
- Lead all revenue-generating activities across sponsorship, hospitality, membership, and ticketing.
- Build and maintain strong, value-driven corporate partnerships.
- Drive innovative marketing, digital, and content strategies to strengthen brand presence and fan engagement.
- Champion membership and ticketing initiatives to grow and retain our supporter base.
- Utilise data and analytics to optimise commercial performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and innovative commercial team culture.
What skills will you possess?
- Proven senior leadership experience in a commercial role within the sports, entertainment, or related sectors.
- A track record of delivering commercial growth through sponsorship acquisition, corporate partnerships, and business development.
- Strong understanding of consumer engagement strategies across membership, ticketing, and digital platforms.
- Extensive Stakeholder management experience at the c-suite level.
- Experience in marketing, brand strategy, and content development.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
- A strategic thinker who can operationally execute and lead in a dynamic environment.
- A natural leader with a passion for building and inspiring high-performing teams.
